Car exhaust In cooperation with PlanetThoughts.org, I have conducted this interview between myself and a composite, typical Anthropogenic Global Warming skeptic.  That is to say, these are my answers to the questions and doubts typically posed (in many online discussions as well as at open meetings) by those who doubt that humans are causing the planet to become significantly warmer.  We felt that this interview format of presentation would be more engaging, and more clear, than simply expounding a series of facts in a vacuum.

Smoke billows from a power plant in Xiangfan, central China's Hubei provinceAMSTERDAM (Reuters) -  China has overtaken the United States as the top emitter of carbon dioxide, the main greenhouse gas, because of surging energy use amid an economic boom, a Dutch government-funded agency said on Wednesday.

Other experts have estimated that China will only surpass the United States in coming years. The rise to number one emitter may put pressure on Beijing to do more to help a U.N.-led fight against global warming.

British government launches personal 'carbon footprint' calculator

Carbon Calculator for the United KingdomThe government on Wednesday launched an online trial calculator that enables people to figure out their "carbon footprint" in order to better fight global warming.

The environment ministry said the calculator unveiled at an Internet cafe in London will enable people to determine how much carbon dioxide they produce as individuals or families from home energy appliances and transport.
